Alena's Corner: Cruise to Cozumel

Early November all the employees and their families had the privilege to attend a Continuing Education course on a cruise ship to Cozumel. Not everyone from our office got the opportunity and go but 8 of us were All-Aboard! I was the only one brave enough to take my family, some came alone and others w/their spouse.

You see, no car seats are needed in Mexico. So, we decided we would get a taxi ride to a beach about 10-15 min away, well...we get there like in 5min (or less) due to this CRAZY FAST driving taxi man! Upon closing the door of the taxi we were oFF! Forget about waiting till all seat-belts are on...so Mark is panicking because he doesn't have his seat belt on, I am applying thick layers of anything I can find in by bag between Matthew (who I am holding in my lap) and the seat belt. Scott throws a seat belt over Mark, so now he is calm, and the remainder of the way (while the driver is going 60mph in turns and cutting other drivers off) I am just PRAYING for us to get there safely. The taxi we took on the way back to the boat was much better, the car couldn't go 45mph even if he tried, and it actually took about 12-15min to get back.
