Bird update

What's the point of keeping a birds nest around when you know that the baby birds will spread their lil' wings and try to fly before it's their time to fly? All they will do is hang out on the grass, their mom will never find them there, and then when it's time for me to let my dogs out to go potty they will sniff them out and Summer "the bird dog" will paw them to death. Luckily only 1 decided to be so brave...the other 3 are still in their nests.

My dear Alena. A bird's nest can teach us a lot about life and family. One day you too will have to let your little bird fly out of the nest where he will not be protected by you anymore. It's a tough world out there but by God's amazing grace and love He cares for us and watches over us. He will watch and care over your litle guy all his life. Remember, He is the one who created him in your womb and loved him even before YOU knew him. Nothing happens without God knowing. And He cares for each one of us more than we ever can, or even know how to. So, do not worry... nothing is beyond the creator of the universe. And look at all the other birds that did not get pawed to death... they fly off, build their own nests, make more little birds, and so the life cycle continues.

"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows" ~Matthew 10:28-31
